Delaware River Report: August 13, 2023

Some of the storm hit us yesterday and all of the river flows are up. The West Branch is 1,160 cfs at hale Eddy with about a foot of visibility in Homepool. The flow is dropping already this morning. The river above Oquaga Creek is fine for wading at 564 cfs and should be clear. Small sulphurs and olives. The lower West looks decent for streamer fishing.

Yesterday was our annual Get Trashed cleanup event. We can’t thank the volunteers and sponsors enough. 80 tires, a load of scrap metal, and a dumpster full of garbage is out of the river. It will be the same weekend in 2024

Today will be 78 degrees with mostly sunshine. Wind will be 10 – 15 mph from the North.

The volunteers did an awesome job cleaning the river this year!
