Delaware River Report / Conditions April 28, 2020

We are following the State’s order and are closed right now.  We are still fulfilling mail orders in the online store:  https://drc-fly-shop.myshopify.com/

Let’s keep the local pictures going.  Since everyone should be fishing local to their homes send us pictures of your locally caught fish and we’ll put them here on the blog.  Even chubs would be cool.  Email them to flyfish@thedelawareriverclub.com

Today looks like the nicest day  of the week.  We should hit 60 degrees with a mix of clouds and sun.  Wind will be 5 – 10 mph from the North.  We’ll see rain the rest of the week through Saturday night.  If Wunderground is correct we’ll see some good accumulation on Thursday but otherwise it looks like light showers.  Night time temperatures are improving too which should help the water temps in the long run.  If you are fishing the Delaware bring most of your early Spring flies.  It looks like a good mix of bugs out there.  The flows are dropping but keep an eye on the gauges this week with all of the rain coming through.
