Delaware River Report / Conditions August 22, 2020

Nymphing was the best bet during the day yesterday but there were fish rising in the evening.  I looked like mostly small olives on the water with a few caddis mixed in.   Today looks similar with the air temp reaching 85 degrees and mostly sunshine.  We may see some clouds move in during the afternoon along with some potential thunderstorms.  The storms seem like a long shot at 20% but hopefully we get the clouds.  Wind will be 5 – 10 mph from the North.  It looks like they pushed our potential rain off to Monday but it should be less than 1/4″.  The warmer weather and potential storms create great conditions for flying ants so definitely keep those patterns handy this week.
