Delaware River Report / Conditions August 28, 2021

We were hit with some rain overnight and the flows are up a bit.  The West Branch at Hale Eddy is 1,140 but already dropping quickly.  The West Branch is off color but people are fishing it this morning.  It’s going to start off as a streamer day at least.  There are a few inches of visibility.  It should clear a bit as the day goes on.    Yesterday was hot until the storms rolled though in the evening.  Once the rain started we had decent olives with a few Isonychias and cahills mixed in.  Today will be cooler at 73 degrees.  We shouldn’t see any additional rain unless we get hit with a stray thunderstorm.  Wind from the South 5 – 10 mph.
