Delaware River Report / Conditions May 3, 2020

Both reservoris are still spilling.  The East Branch flow dropped slightly and the West Branch increased slightly.  It’s going to take a few days for the runoff to filter through the system. People did find fish rising in yesterday’s high water.  If there are enough bugs on the water the fish will find a place to eat.  Caddis, hendricksons, and a lot of blue quills are hatching.  Today looks like another great day to be on the water.  70 degrees, sun and clouds, and wind 10 – 15 from the West.

We are following the State’s order and are closed right now.  We are still fulfilling mail orders in the online store:  https://drc-fly-shop.myshopify.com

Curbside pickup is now a shipping option in the store

Let’s keep the local pictures going.  Since everyone should be fishing local to their homes send us pictures of your locally caught fish and we’ll put them here on the blog.  Even chubs would be cool.  Email them to flyfish@thedelawareriverclub.com
