Delaware River Report: June 26, 2022

Another sunny and warm day but there were fish to be found when the bugs were out.

It looks like they pulsed the release overnight to cool the river, though it’s back down to its regular flow now. The Lower East Branch, Beaverkill and Main Stem had higher temperatures yesterday and with an identical forecast today they will remain hotter than we like. We are expecting some rain overnight which will help cool down the rivers and the air temperature. Look for shade today or wait until the sun dips below the hills.

Water release data from the Stilesville, NY gauge showing an overnight increase in water flow, then reduced.
