Yesterday had the best hatching we’ve seen yet this season. Hendricksons, blue quills, olives, little black caddis, apple caddis, and dark Brachycentrus – plus few March Browns. The fish were up and happy. The flows and water temps are similar to yesterday morning. The release from Cannonsville is still 902 cfs with 175 cfs flowing over the spillway. There are people wading the West Branch in some areas. The easiest / best wading is on the Upper East Branch, Beaverkill, and Willowemoc.
We had a rare guide cancellation for Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. If you’re looking for a guide this week email us at flyfish@thedelawareriverclub.com
Today will be 52 degrees with clouds in the morning partially clearing in the afternoon. Wind will be 5 – 10 mph from the North.
