Delaware River Report: September 1, 2025

The release from Cannonsville is 931 cfs. The release was most likely bumped up again to meet the 1,750 cfs flow target at Montague, NJ. If Wunderground is correct today looks like a good day to be on the water. We should see more clouds moving in during the afternoon and no wind. Olives have mad up the bulk of the hatch but a lot of fish are willing to eat Cahills and Isonychias. There are some Tricos around but they have been spotty. If you’re looking for them don’t hesitate to move until you find them.

Today will be 75 degrees with a mix of clouds and sun early turning mostly cloudy in the afternoon. Wind will be light and variable.
