Delaware River Report: September 27, 2025

The release from Cannonsville is 350 cfs. All of the river flows dropped quickly and despite the rain all the rivers are starting off a little low this morning. The flow at Montague, NJ has peaked and is beginning to drop. Hopefully we’ll get a bump in the release in a few days after the runoff passes through. Nymphing and streamers worked well yesterday but there were some olives in the slow foam lines. There are still some Isonychias and Cahills around so blind casting the riffles could pay off.

Today will be 77 degrees with partly cloudy skies in the morning turning overcast this afternoon. Wind will light and variable.
