River Report / Conditions April 11, 2011

Hard to believe I went outside of the shop and couldn’t see my breath today!! There was decent insect actvity yesterday until the wind picked up a bit. A few rising fish were seen as well!  The exciting news is that the Paraleps (Blue Quill) are out, and there were some good numbers on the West Branch yesterday, but still not many fish looking up for them due to the water temps. We are still seeing Chimmarra caddis and little black stones, but the Baetis vagans are still absent – let’s hope that changes! Here are your flows:
