There was another cold water pulse overnight from Cannonsville. The flow at Stilesville has already dropped back to normal. The flow at Hale Eddy is 700 cfs and beginning to drop. That should be back to normal by mid morning. 700 cfs is perfect wadeable so no issues there. We’re still seeing small sulphurs and cahills in the coldest river sections during the day. The lower river sections have been a mix of olives and cahillswith a few caddis towards dark. The rain missed us yesterday. Today will be 87 degrees with sunshine. Wind 5 – 10 mph from the South.
The East Branch at Fishs Eddy, the Beaverkill at Cooks Falls, and the Mainstem at Lordville all peaked over 70 degrees yesterday. Give these sections a break until we get cooler temps.
