The aqueduct work has been pushed off again. It is now scheduled for Fall of 2024.
The flows are still dropping slowly and the rivers look good this morning. We’ll have sunshine today so the best bet for midday dry fly will be in the cold water by the dams. sulphurs and small olives have made up most of the bugs. There are a few Isonychias and cahills around. We may see some clouds move in towards dark.
The Beaverkill at Cooks Falls, East Branch at Fishs Eddy, and Mainstem at Lordville will peak over 70 degrees today. It’s time to give these sections a break and fish the colder water.
Today will be 83 degrees with mostly sunshine. Wind will be 5 – 10 mph from the South.
