Yesterday was a hot one but we did have some cloud cover that made it easier to bear. They’re messing around with the Cannonsville release a bit and Stilesville is around 550 cfs this morning. The fishing will be similar to yesterday with sulphurs and olives mid day in Deposit and nymphing with some evening activity on the mid to lower West Branch. Blind casting Isonychias and cahills should work if you don’t like nymphing. Today will be another hot one but we should have decent cloud cover by the afternoon. 50% chance of afternoon thunderstorms with wind 10 – 15 mph from the South. Much better than bright sun
The Beaverkill at Cooks Falls, East Branch at Fishs Eddy, and Upper Mainstem all peaked close to or over 70 degrees yesterday. Those rivers are done for a while.
