Delaware River Report: June 10, 2023

The cooler nights and overcast sky helped yesterday. There were some sulphurs and cornutas mid afternoon offering some dry fly shots earlier than we’ve seen lately. We’ll start off with cloud cover this morning but should see some sunshine later in the day. The release from Cannonsville was likely done for the Montague Flow Target. The level is still good for wading and floating. Sulphurs, Light Cahills, March Browns, cornutas and Green Drakes are hatching. Dark Blue Sedges #14 are out in the evening (Psilotreta sp.). Pale Evening Duns are showing in good numbers.

Today will hit 74 degrees with the possibility of a light rain shower. Total precip should be .01″. Wind will be 5 -10 mph from the North.
